Laurence Laluyaux

Laurence Laluyaux grew up in France and studied in France and England. She worked briefly as an interpreter before joining RCW Literary Agency where she ran the Foreign Rights department and became a director in 2001. She is now developing RCW International which focuses on writers from around the world writing in many languages (including English). Laurence is interested in literary fiction and non-fiction that break down barriers and cross over languages and borders. She is particularly keen on voice-led books that play with form and genre and sidestep expectations. She works closely with translators and is open to submissions from all languages, preferably with a synopsis in English.
